Accounts Payable Clerk – Leighton Buzzard (office based) - Up to £30,000 p.a.

The role will report into their supportive Finance Manager and will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable function.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Allocation of invoices and raising purchase orders
\n
• Statement reconciliations
\n
• Dealing with supplier queries
\n
• Petty cash reconciliations
\n
• Supplier payments
\n

The role requires someone with strong organisation skills, an eye for detail and someone who can manage a varied workload and keep to tight deadlines.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and who likes working under their own initiative whilst still having a supportive team around them.

Skills required:

• Proven experience working within an Accounts Payable position.
\n
• Strong IT skills (Excel and Word essential). Sage 50 advantageous.
\n
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
\n
• Proactive, able to work on your own initiative and self-motivated.
\n
• Eye for detail and high level of accuracy.
\n
