Assistant Project Manager

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (Commercial Fit Out) Location: Manchester Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications For this role you should possess the following: Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related discipline (preferred) Full UK Driving Licence and own transport Strong communication and organisational skills Eagerness to develop a career within the commercial fit out sector Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines A proactive attitude with a willingness to learnDuties Assist Project Managers with the delivery of CAT A & CAT B commercial fit out projects Support the day-to-day running of multiple live projects Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams Attend site meetings and assist with recording progress Help monitor project programmes, costs and quality standards Liaise with clients, consultants and internal departments Assist with procurement and material scheduling Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with company procedures Support project handovers and completion documentation Gain exposure to projects from pre-construction through to final completion Benefits £30,000 - £35,000 salary 28 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown bringing up to 34 days.
