Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting high-quality financial and investment operations, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and the integrity of financial systems and data. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving processes, supporting change initiatives and working with stakeholders to deliver efficient financial operations. Description Support financial and investment operations activities, ensuring accuracy and high service standards. Review, develop and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and strengthen controls. Deliver timely financial outputs and reporting for a range of stakeholders. Process transactions and payments while ensuring all governance requirements are met. Identify, investigate and challenge anomalies within financial data and operational activity. Maintain financial systems, supporting testing, implementation and ongoing enhancements. ure documentation and controls meet compliance requirements. Contribute to system migrations, change programmes and continuous improvement initiatives. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure efficient delivery of financial operations. Profile The successful candidate is likely to have experience within financial operations, investment operations or a wider financial services environment. They will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and a proven track record of working within robust control environments. You'll also be able to demonstrate: Experience supporting financial or investment operations. Strong understanding of financial controls, governance and risk management. Experience improving processes and implementing operational change. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge. An organised, proactive and solutions-focused approach. Job Offer Competitive salary up to £48,000, dependent on the level of experience. 12 month FTC position within the public sector.
