Our client, a well-established franchise-approved car dealership based in Leominster, is seeking an experienced and professional Workshop Controller to join their busy Service Department. - Managing day-to-day operations of the workshop team, including 8+ Vehicle Technicians and apprentices \n
- Ensuring efficient workflow distribution idolising team skills and capabilities \n
- Communicating with the Service Manager to implement the best workshop processes \n
- Overseeing customer vehicle progress, liaising with service reception to ensure customer satisfaction \n
- Monitoring workshop performance against KPIs and identifying areas for improvement \n
- Planning and scheduling work allocation, balancing workload and skills \n
- Identifying training and development needs within the team \n
- Maintaining workshop standards in accordance with health and safety regulations \n
- Ensuring adherence to brand service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators \n
- Supporting the team to deliver high-quality repair and service standards \n

- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar managerial role within an automotive service environment preferred; training will be provided to suitable Workshop Controllers \n
- Proven track record in an automotive aftersales role such as Vehicle Technician or Service Advisor \n
- Strong organisational and team management skills \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities \n
- Results-oriented with problem-solving and decision-making skills \n
- Focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction \n
- IT literacy; experience with CDK/Kerridge systems advantageous \n
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points \n
- Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Leominster \n
