An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Court of Protection Manager / Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive (3+ PQE) to join a well-established and growing Private Client team.

This is a senior role offering the opportunity to lead and develop Court of Protection services while managing a varied caseload and supporting a dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, their families, professional contacts and external agencies, delivering a high-quality and compassionate service.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a mixed caseload of Court of Protection and Private Client matters
\n
• Supervising and supporting team members handling Court of Protection work
\n
• Advising clients, families, attorneys and professional deputies
\n
• Preparing and managing Court of Protection applications and related documentation
\n
• Liaising with the Court of Protection, Probate Registry, HM Land Registry, HMRC and other external bodies
\n
• Handling estate administration matters and related legal work
\n
• Responding to client enquiries both face-to-face and remotely
\n
• Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships to generate new business opportunities
\n
• Contributing to marketing initiatives, including legal articles, blogs and client-focused content
\n

About You

You will be a proactive and client-focused legal professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to lead and motivate others.

Essential Requirements

\n
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years' PQE
\n
• Significant experience managing Court of Protection matters
\n
• Experience advising on:
\n
• Probate and estate administration
\n
• Wills and trusts
\n
• Estate and tax planning
\n
• Elderly client matters
\n
