Data Consultant - Aladdin

A leading global investment manager is undertaking one of the most significant data transformation programmes in the firm's history - migrating front and Middle Office operations onto Aladdin ahead of a major go-live in early 2027. We're looking for a hands-on data specialist who knows Aladdin inside out and can hit the ground running.

This is an execution-focused role at the heart of a major investment data transformation. You'll be working across business and technology teams to map and validate data across a bronze-to-silver-to-gold data architecture - ensuring investment data flows accurately from source systems through to downstream consumers.

Aladdin goes into pilot imminently, making this a critical moment to join. You'll need to be comfortable with pace, ambiguity and working independently.

What you'll be doing

• Leading data mapping and lineage activities across investment data domains
\n
• Documenting mappings between source systems, enterprise data layers and consumption platforms
\n
• Validating data quality, completeness and reconciliation
\n
• Facilitating workshops and driving alignment across business and technology stakeholders
\n
• Applying your Aladdin expertise to resolve data issues and dependencies
\n
• Driving progress independently in a fast-moving programme environment
\n

What we're looking for

\n
• Extensive hands-on experience with Aladdin - especially its data structures and data flows
\n
• Proven background in global asset or investment management
\n
• Strong enterprise data management experience (mapping, lineage, governance)
\n
• Good understanding of investment data - portfolios, holdings, security master, risk and performance
\n
• Ability to operate across both business and technology functions
\n
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
\n
• Experience on large-scale transformation or platform implementation programmes
\n

Nice to have

\n
• Direct experience supporting Aladdin implementations or migrations
\n
• Familiarity with IBOR, ABOR and investment data management frameworks
\n
• Knowledge of front and Middle Office operating models
\n

£700 to £800 a day, Inside IR35

6 Month rolling contract

Hybrid, London (3 days a week in office)
