Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a high-performing property team within a leading property law firm. Working as part of a specialist unit focused on residential development transactions, you will manage a varied caseload with a particular emphasis on part exchange matters linked to national housebuilders. This role is ideal for a confident conveyancer who can independently handle transactions from instruction through to completion, including both freehold and leasehold properties. You will play a key role in delivering fast-paced, high-quality work in line with client expectations for efficiency and turnaround.Key Responsibilities\n

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing files independently
  • \n
  • Handle transactions from initial instruction through to post-completion
  • \n
  • Draft and issue contract packs and supporting documentation
  • \n
  • Deal with pre-contract enquiries and liaise with all relevant parties
  • \n
  • Review title documentation, searches, and report on findings
  • \n
  • Negotiate terms and manage exchanges of contracts
  • \n
  • Oversee completions and ensure smooth transaction finalisation
  • \n
  • Handle post-completion matters including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • \n
  • Maintain high levels of organisation to meet quick turnaround deadlines
  • \n
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients
  • \n
The Ideal Candidate\n
    \n
  • 3–5 years’ + experience in residential conveyancing
  • \n
  • Proven ability to run a full caseload with minimal supervision
  • \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of both leasehold and freehold transactions
  • \n
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • \n
  • Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships
  • \n
  • Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • \n
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach
  • \n
  • Competent IT skills and ability to manage digital workflows
  • \n
  • Professional, discreet, and client-focused
