Temporary Contract – Sickness Cover

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary HR Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR team based in Feltham. This role is covering a period of sickness absence and could last from a few weeks to few months.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator looking for a flexible role

\n

Location - Feltham

\n

Pay Rate £16.00 per hour

\n

Working Hours

\n

Flexible working pattern – approximately 5 hours per day, with start and finish times to be agreed to suit the successful candidate.

\n

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Maintaining and updating employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring all outstanding actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • \n
  • Preparing a variety of HR documentation, including letters, forms and general correspondence.
  • \n
  • Managing the HR inbox, responding to routine enquiries and escalating matters to the Head of HR or HR Advisor when appropriate.
  • \n
  • Filing and maintaining both electronic and paper-based employee records in line with company procedures.
  • \n
  • Providing recruitment administration support, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, arranging interviews and coordinating Microsoft Teams and face-to-face interviews.
  • \n
  • Assisting with payroll administration by producing sickness, absence and overtime reports from the time and attendance system.
  • \n
  • Monitoring and processing internal request forms, ensuring actions are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • \n
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to the relevant department or individual.
  • \n
  • Providing reception support, welcoming visitors, managing sign-in procedures and issuing PPE where required.
  • \n
  • Supporting the HR team and wider business with ad hoc administrative tasks and office duties as needed.

About You

\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n
    \n
  • Previous administration experience, ideally within an HR environment.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • \n
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • \n
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • \n
  • A professional and confidential approach when handling sensitive information.
  • \n
