Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a practical and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our clients team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied role involving warehouse operations, stock management, equipment preparation, and occasional delivery and installation support. The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail. • Process goods received and goods dispatched efficiently and accurately.
\n
• Maintain stock control using an integrated stock management system.
\n
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of equipment prior to dispatch.
\n
• Build and prepare equipment ready for customer installation.
\n
• Assist with deliveries and support the engineers with on-site installations as required.
\n
• Ensure warehouse operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

Skills and Experience\n

\n
• Previous warehouse experience with a good understanding of goods in/goods out processes.
\n
• Experience using a stock management or inventory control system.
\n
• Good practical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble and prepare equipment following training.
\n
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n
• Confident and competent driver with a valid full driving licence.
\n
