Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be partnered with a rapidly expanding wholesale business, with the search and selection of a Warehouse Manager for their Tuxford operation. This is a hands-on position for an experienced Warehouse Manager who thrives on leading teams, optimising processes, and ensuring stock and orders are right first time, every time.About the Role: As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations across B2B box and B2C e-commerce fulfilment. You will lead and develop the warehouse team, maintain robust stock control and cycle counting processes, and drive continuous improvements in productivity and cost control. Your impact will be seen in accurate stock levels, on-time order fulfilment, and a well-organised warehouse that supports the wider business.Key Responsibilities:* Lead, supervise and motivate warehouse staff, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and managing staffing levels to meet operational demands. * Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, pick, pack and dispatch for both B2B and B2C e-commerce orders. * Ensure full compliance with warehouse health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment and conducting regular safety checks. * Implement and manage stock control procedures, including regular cycle counting, to maintain accurate inventory records and minimise stock discrepancies. * Plan and control warehouse budgets, monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements. * Optimise warehouse layout, workflows and picking strategies to improve productivity, accuracy and throughput. * Monitor key operational metrics (e.g. order accuracy, dispatch times, stock accuracy) and implement corrective actions where required. * Liaise with internal teams (purchasing, customer service, sales) and external partners (carriers, suppliers) to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of customer orders.Key Requirements:* Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse supervisory role within a fast-paced distribution or fulfilment environment. * Strong track record of staff supervision and leadership, including performance management and team development. * Demonstrable experience in stock control and cycle counting, with the ability to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. * Solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements and practical experience implementing safe working practices. * Experience managing budgets and controlling warehouse operating costs. * Hands-on experience of pick, pack and dispatch operations for both B2B and B2C e-commerce channels. * Competent user of warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic IT applications (e.g. Excel, email). * Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and accuracy.Desirable Skills:* Experience of implementing or improving WMS, barcoding or scanning solutions. * Background in multi-channel fulfilment, including marketplaces and web-based e-commerce platforms. * Experience working with KPI dashboards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. 5S, Lean). * Knowledge of carrier management and shipping integrations.
