Our client, an established independent used car dealership located in Hereford, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. - Potential earnings up to £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience \n

- Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles in line with manufacturer and dealership standards \n
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings to the Service Manager \n
- Ensure repair work adheres to health, safety, and quality standards \n
- Maintain high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction \n
- Complete relevant documentation and reports comprehensively and accurately \n
- Assist with vehicle inspections and health checks as required \n
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment \n
- Support the team in meeting performance targets and objectives \n

- IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred, although strong demonstrable experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications \n
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points \n
- Experience in a similar role within a busy dealership or repair environment \n
- Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques \n
- Motivated, team-oriented, and customer-focused \n
- Ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines \n
- MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential \n
