Project Manager SAP / HVWorking LocationManchesterContract TypePermanentSalary: Up to £80,000Role OverviewIf you're a Senior Authorised Person with strong HV network experience who wants to step into a project management role, this is a chance to lead delivery on major connections work for a growing distribution network operator.You will be supporting an expanding electricity and gas distribution network operator as it grows its business, adopting and operating multi-utility networks across Britain. This role sits within the engineering function and combines SAP-level authority over HV network safety and switching with hands-on project management of large-scale connections schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesProject managing large-scale connections schemesHolding SAP authority for HV switching, safety documentation, and network controlActing as primary point of contact for on-site engineers delivering HV network worksDeveloping scoping documentation and protection-related diagramsReviewing detailed designs including SLDs and AC/DC schematicsManaging contracts and assigning appropriate work skills to enable deliveryUndertaking engineering studies, O&Ms, and technical specificationsSite witnessing through to commissioningInvestigating and reporting on defects and mis-operationsRequirementsStrong experience across EHV, HV 33-11kV, and LV electrical operationsProven track record managing large-scale project deliveryBackground in design or commissioning of power system protection at distribution levelEngineering / H&S competency qualification to City & Guilds levelExperience procuring, tendering, and managing major service and refurbishment contractsStrong safety focus with demonstrable risk mitigation on live networksUnderstanding of CDM regulations and the principal engineer roleHow to ApplyPlease send your CV or contact details to the recruitment consultant managing this role and they will be in touch.TPBN1_UKTJ
