Cleaning Operative – Northampton Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team in the Northampton area. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a range of premises, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training can be provided. Key Responsibilities * Carry out general cleaning duties to a high standard. * Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors. * Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and fixtures. * Clean kitchens, toilets, washrooms, and communal areas. * Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. * Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. * Follow health and safety procedures at all times. * Use cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly. * Report any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns. * Ensure all work is completed within scheduled timeframes. Requirements * Good attention to detail. * Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. * Ability to work independently and use initiative. * Good communication skills. * Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties. * Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
