EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician to become a part of our hospital-affiliated team.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Option #1: A base salary of $286,290* (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates) with additional compensation based on experience, guaranteed for two years. This can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.
- Option #2: A base salary of $350,085* (75th percentile MGMA) guaranteed for the first year, after which it will convert to a wRVU production contract.
* A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO), plus an additional 5 days for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing education.
- Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral of up to the IRS limit of $22,500 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
- Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,000 annually for those under 50, and $30,500 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 for moving expenses.
- Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
- Health Insurance: A small premium is deducted from your paycheck.
- Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for 2 years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
- Bonus Opportunities: Attractive bonus incentives up to 10% of salary.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).
- Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, capped at $100,000 (paid upon signing the contract and forgiven over 2-4 years).
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000 (requires a service commitment of up to 2 years).
PRACTICE INFORMATION:
- Location: Family Health Center.
- Office Hours/Work Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
- On-call: 1:4 days (Monday-Friday) and 1:4 weekends from Saturday 8 AM to Monday 8 AM.
- Facility Operations:
- Lab, X-ray, and pharmacy services operate during the same hours as urgent care.
- Family practice, CT, MRI, and ultrasound services are available by appointment.
- Patient Load: 20-25 patients per day.
- Procedures: Includes injections, ear irrigation, breathing treatments, and mole/skin tag removal.
- Practice Expectations:
- Responsible for covering acute care needs.
- The practice serves as an outpatient lab draw site, accepting walk-in patients for blood draws.
- We seek a provider who is eager to expand the practice, is patient-centered, and can adapt to last-minute schedule changes to accommodate patient needs.
- Participation in Antibiotic Stewardship is expected.
