Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide direct dental care and related services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, while also supporting office operations.

  • Deliver high-quality and compassionate care to each patient
  • Provide direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride application, and other related procedures under dentist supervision
  • Enhance customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care
  • Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices
  • Evaluate patients' dental conditions and review their medical histories
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and organizational standards
  • Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process
  • Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed
  • Take x-rays and document them in patient records when necessary
  • Create memorable patient experiences by demonstrating compassion towards patients and their families
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
  • CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire)
