Position: Locum Onsite Radiologist located near Great Falls, MT, commencing in June 2026 and continuing thereafter.
DescriptionThis role involves providing radiology services, including mammography and light interventional radiology (IR).
Schedule- Frequency: 2 weeks each month, with a preference for consecutive weeks if feasible.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts; no night or weekend work required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various imaging modalities, including:
- CT Scans
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Mammography
- Nuclear Medicine (Cardiolites, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and bone scans)
- X-ray fluoroscopy exams
- Light interventional radiology procedures
- Perform image-guided biopsies and drainages using ultrasound and CT, as well as lumbar punctures, myelograms, thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrograms, and injections, based on comfort level.
- Dictation Software: PowerScribe
- PACS System: PACS Synapse
- Privileges Duration: 2-3 months
- Board Certification: Must be board certified, with ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- EMR System: Meditech
- DEA License: Required
- Controlled Substance Permit/Radioactive Materials License: Not required
- License Wait Time: The organization is willing to wait for licensing, which typically takes 1-3 months; IMLC accepted.
Travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
Compensation and Benefits- Referral Bonus: $2000 for any referral who completes 160 hours of work.
