Position: Locum Onsite Radiologist located near Great Falls, MT, commencing in June 2026 and continuing thereafter.

Description

This role involves providing radiology services, including mammography and light interventional radiology (IR).

Schedule
  • Frequency: 2 weeks each month, with a preference for consecutive weeks if feasible.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts; no night or weekend work required.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various imaging modalities, including:
    • CT Scans
    • MRI
    • Ultrasound
    • Mammography
    • Nuclear Medicine (Cardiolites, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and bone scans)
    • X-ray fluoroscopy exams
    • Light interventional radiology procedures
  • Perform image-guided biopsies and drainages using ultrasound and CT, as well as lumbar punctures, myelograms, thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrograms, and injections, based on comfort level.
Technical Requirements
  • Dictation Software: PowerScribe
  • PACS System: PACS Synapse
  • Privileges Duration: 2-3 months
  • Board Certification: Must be board certified, with ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • EMR System: Meditech
  • DEA License: Required
  • Controlled Substance Permit/Radioactive Materials License: Not required
  • License Wait Time: The organization is willing to wait for licensing, which typically takes 1-3 months; IMLC accepted.

Travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
