Position: Echo Technician

Location: Redding, CA

Department: Cardiology

Available Shifts: Full-Time, Daytime

Salary Range: $660.00 - $770.00 per shift (base gross), based on a 36-hour (3x10-hour) schedule; equivalent to $60.00 - $70.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac ultrasounds to evaluate heart structures and blood flow
• Accurately obtain cardiac measurements
• Assist physicians during complex procedures
• Support departmental operations and clerical tasks
• Manage documentation and information flow

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

• Completion of an Echocardiogram program or equivalent training is required.
• Current BCLS certification is required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Ability to assist physicians with TEE testing is necessary.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Echo Technician is required.
• Experience in a hospital setting within the Cardiology field is preferred.
• As of July 1, 2017, ARDMS or CCI certification is required.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation for this role ranging from $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. This estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for other locations. The exact starting salary will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skill set, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
