Position Overview:

Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) plays a crucial role in providing clinical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the success of each client case assigned.

In this role, you will ensure that:

  • Client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to meaningful progress and satisfaction with our offerings. You will deliver direct services, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and oversee assigned cases, including consultation for cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
  • Your clinical team benefits from professional development and achieves success in their roles, tailored to their experience and growth stage. You will mentor, provide feedback, and encourage Program Managers and Interventionists to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours per week / 110 hours per month).
  • Supervise the Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours per week (120 hours per month).
  • Deliver quality clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to uphold treatment integrity and quality assurance across various clients and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
  • Conduct developmental assessments, such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, and/or VB-MAPP, to create and assess individualized treatment plans and objectives.
  • Oversee and document the progress of RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB standards.
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and Functional Analyses to develop function-based treatment strategies.
  • Provide constructive performance feedback to clinical team members, including Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers.
  • Offer training to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST), which includes discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
  • Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed, presenting proposed goals, behavioral interventions, and necessary modifications.
  • Collaborate with school staff by observing students, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, and offering training and follow-up support as authorized.

Required Skills:

  • Strong skills in ABA and clinical practices
  • Self-motivated with the ability to consistently manage client appointments and team meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to grammar and clarity
  • Effective time management, balancing billable and non-billable hours, as well as direct and indirect supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Team-oriented with a customer service mindset, committed to supporting client families and colleagues
  • Able to provide and accept constructive feedback
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
