EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to become part of our expanding hospital-based anesthesia team. Enjoy a four-day work week with a rotating on-call schedule, and there is no need to cover a surgery center. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  • Base salary starting at $279,853, with additional compensation based on experience, guaranteed for a period of two years.

Alongside the guaranteed salary, we are pleased to provide:

  • Overtime compensation
  • Evening shift differential
  • Weekend shift differential
  • Premium pay for on-call duties

CONTRACT DETAILS:

  • Vacation: 272 hours of paid time off (PTO)
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME)/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for expenses
  • Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,500 annually, with no matching
  • Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,500 for those under 50 years old and $31,000 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary
  • Relocation Assistance: $10,000 provided to a moving company
  • Malpractice Insurance: Claims-made coverage of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate
  • Health Insurance: Minimal premium paid by the provider, deducted from paycheck
  • Liquidated Damages: 70-mile radius and a two-year non-compete clause, or one year’s salary as liquidated damages
  • Bonus Opportunities: Attractive bonuses up to 10% of salary
  • Student Loan Repayment: Up to $80,000 ($10,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
  • Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, paid upon contract signing and forgiven over two years
  • Overtime Pay: Time and a half for hours exceeding 40 in a week
  • Evening Differential: Applicable Monday through Thursday after 4:00 p.m.
  • Weekend Differential: From Friday after 4:00 p.m. until Monday before 7:00 a.m.
  • On-Call Premium Pay
  • CRNA School Stipend: Up to $168,000 (requires a service commitment of up to five years)

PRACTICE INFORMATION:

  • Location: Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH
  • Work Schedule: Four-day work week with rotating on-call duties, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (cases begin at 7:30 a.m.), with potential for extended hours due to additional surgical cases.
  • Staffing: Comprising 8 anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs
  • Call Schedule:
    • Rotating weekday call every other week
    • Weekend call ratio of 1:10
    • All call shifts follow a day off
  • Case Load: Varied based on the operating room, including:
    • General Surgery
    • Thoracic
    • Vascular
    • OB/Maternity
    • Gynecology
    • ENT
    • Ophthalmology
    • Orthopedics
    • Urology
    • Healthy Pediatrics (ages 1 and older)
