Department Overview

Our schedule consists of 32 hours across 4 days each week, with one variable day off.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering personalized nursing care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating patient care and conducting assessments
• Providing patient education and triage services
• Implementing various nursing interventions
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to plan and evaluate care

The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and state regulations is essential, as is alignment with the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice, or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Must obtain and maintain any required department-specific licenses, competencies, and certifications.
