Our organization is in search of a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Requirements for the OT Position:
Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Possession of a valid Occupational Therapy License in New York State is required.
Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
Select activities that empower residents to perform daily tasks independently.
Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting.
Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
Foster a collaborative environment among the healthcare team.
