Our organization is in search of a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to provide support at Fort Bliss, Texas, specifically within the Soldier Readiness Processing Center and related military medical facilities.
This role presents a fantastic chance to engage in a structured, mission-oriented setting that serves active-duty personnel.
Position Overview:Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 5:00 AM and 4:30 PM
No Night or Weekend Shifts: No on-call duties required
Work Location: Fort Bliss, TX
Work Environment: Soldier Readiness Processing Center / Military Clinics
Completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program
Possession of NCCPA certification (PA-C)
At least 1 year of recent primary care experience (within the last 2 years)
Active and unrestricted state license
NPI required (DEA not necessary)
BLS Certification (from AHA or Red Cross, in-person)

Perform medical evaluations to ensure Service Members are ready for mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB)
Deliver primary care services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical exams, diagnosing, and treating patients
Ensure efficient patient flow by seeing approximately 4-6 patients per hour (SRP)
Conduct Health Risk Assessments and review patient medical histories
Order and analyze laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic procedures, following up on any abnormal results
Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans within the scope of practice
Coordinate patient care and facilitate referrals to specialists as necessary
