Location: San Antonio, TX (100% onsite)

Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift (between 5AM - 11:30PM)

Pay Rate: $43.05/hr

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Start Date: 8/7/2026

Clearance: None Required

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of aircraft electrical maintenance, modification, or repair experience
• 4+ years of experience working with aircraft electrical/electronic systems
• Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering drawings
• Experience with wire routing, wire harness installation, and connector terminations
• Aircraft electrical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
• Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Depot-level maintenance/modification experience
• Forklift, crane, or powered lift equipment experience
• Lockout/Tagout experience

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Mechanic to support one of the largest aerospace manufacturing companies onsite in San Antonio, TX. This role will perform aircraft electrical modifications, wiring installations, troubleshooting, testing, and repair activities in support of aircraft maintenance and modification programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft electrical modifications and repairs
• Install, route, terminate, and inspect wiring and harnesses
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems and components
• Perform operational testing and quality inspections
• Follow safety, tool control, and FOD procedures
• Support aircraft maintenance and modification schedules

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated platforms
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to use required PPE
• Regular and predictable attendance required
