Our organization is actively looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to become part of our exceptional team of collaborative physicians in the Rockford, Illinois area!

Opportunity:

• Collaborative Environment: The selected physician will work alongside three Orthopedic Surgeons and a dedicated group of advanced practice professionals within a well-established practice that has potential for expansion.
• Supportive Staff: Our team includes Orthopedic Surgical Nurse Navigators who enhance patient preparedness for surgery and aim for optimal post-operative results.
• Team Collaboration: The nursing staff in the Ambulatory Care Unit and the Physical Rehabilitation Team work closely with the surgeon to facilitate same-day discharges following total joint surgeries when suitable.
• Facilities: The practice is situated within the FHN Family Healthcare Center - Burchard Hills, a multi-specialty clinic located just a mile from our network's 100-bed hospital.
• Work Schedule: The position entails four days per week of direct patient care, along with on-call responsibilities.
• Call Coverage: On-call duties are shared at a ratio of 1:3.
• Referral Sources: Access to extensive multi-subspecialty referral sources is available on-site.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
• Completion of residency training from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A genuine passion for improving patient lives.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive initial salary guarantee (aligned with MGMA standards) transitioning to a production-based compensation model after the first year, along with an excellent benefits package:

• Salary range of $750k-$900k.
