Position: Travel ICU Charge Nurse
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Department: Intensive Care Unit
Available Shifts: Day and Night
Compensation: Up to $1,491 – $2,067 gross pay weekly; equivalent to $41.44 – $57.43 per hour.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

- Supervise ICU operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
- Mentor and support staff performance and development.
- Assist with performance management and HR-related tasks.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and overall unit readiness.
- Coordinate patient care, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Address patient care concerns and escalate issues through the proper channels.
- Engage with patients and families to enhance their experience.
- Provide direct patient care as necessary to ensure safe staffing and quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and high-quality patient care.
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Valid and current state RN License
- Current BLS certification (AHA) upon hire and must be maintained
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) upon hire and must be maintained
- At least one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or emergency department
- One to two years of previous supervisory experience in an acute care hospital or ICU setting is required
Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role being $41.44 to $57.43. This estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for other geographic areas. The exact starting salary will be determined at the time of hiring, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
