Key Highlights
Full-time opportunity in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
Collaborate with 7 Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologists and 4 skilled Cardiac Surgeons
Participate in outreach clinics approximately one day per week
Required skills include proficiency in Cath lab procedures such as invasive hemodynamic assessments, myocardial biopsies, diagnostic coronary angiograms (optional), urgent temporary MCS devices (optional), and PA pressure sensor implants (optional)
On-call duties exclusively for the AHFT team
Encouragement to engage in the medical education of general cardiology & AHFT fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students, as well as regional cardiovascular conferences
Involvement in ongoing research related to advanced heart failure, transplant, MCS, and pulmonary arterial hypertension
Utilization of EPIC EMR
Be part of a nationally recognized organization with a physician-led medical group and integrated service line
Access to DAX Copilot, an AI-driven clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, enhancing clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review and signature
Work in an environment that prioritizes safe and equitable care for all patients
Compensation includes a salary of $559,301 plus an annual incentive bonus of up to $50K
Sign-on bonus of $50K
Training and Experience Required
Board Eligible or Board Certified in cardiovascular disease
Board Eligible or Board Certified in advanced heart failure and transplant
Successful completion of a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant
