As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients through meaningful interactions. You will provide care and services that help patients achieve or maintain their optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient needs continuously and adjusting care plans as necessary based on any changes in the patient's condition. Additionally, you will be expected to offer clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) on a daily basis.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements- Completion of a nursing diploma (either an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Current licensure/registration in the relevant state, with an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment
- Preferred: At least one (1) year of experience in skilled nursing
- CPR certification required upon hire or to be obtained during orientation; must remain current throughout employment
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and maintain a positive demeanor towards patients
- Utilize reasoning skills and sound judgment effectively
- Communicate and collaborate efficiently within an interdisciplinary team
