Nocturnist in Hospital Medicine - Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, SC

Our organization is in search of a board-eligible or board-certified Internal Medicine physician to become part of a flourishing community health system in Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, South Carolina. This position is an employed role within our health network, aimed at serving the rapidly growing Georgetown and Horry Counties, recognized as one of the fastest expanding regions in the nation.

We operate two hospitals: Georgetown Memorial Hospital, which has 131 beds, and Waccamaw Community Hospital, with 121 beds, both located in South Carolina. Essential Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Eligibility for a medical license in South Carolina

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time opportunity driven by increasing patient volume
  • Join a well-established group of over 20 physicians and six advanced practice providers
  • Work in two acute-care hospitals with open ICUs
  • Schedule: Seven days on, seven days off, with 12-hour shifts (7 PM to 7 AM)
  • Support for admissions during the swing shift (12 PM to 10 PM)
  • Access to modern facilities, including a cardiac catheterization lab and critical care units, with 24/7 consulting support from pulmonary/critical care physicians
