Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused professional to join a growing EHS team supporting large-scale construction projects. This individual will initially join the team as a Safety Specialist and receive hands-on training before transitioning into a Safety Management role on an upcoming project. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their safety career and grow into a leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across active construction sites
  • Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, providing corrective actions when needed
  • Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and new hire orientations
  • Maintain safety documentation and reporting requirements
  • Partner with field leadership and craft personnel to proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Assist with training and mentoring field personnel on safety best practices
  • Support project leadership in maintaining a safe and productive work environment

Qualifications

  • Active CHST Certification (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of construction safety experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments and build relationships with field teams
  • Data center experience is preferred but not required
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules during the training period, including occasional night shifts if needed

Compensation: $40-$45/ hour.
