Our organization, located in Lake Geneva, WI, is actively looking for a Family Medicine Physician to become part of our outstanding team of collaborative healthcare professionals across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin!

We are a multi-state, integrated healthcare system that includes seven hospitals, featuring a cutting-edge ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. With over 800 employed physicians and 200 advanced practice providers, we operate more than 100 outpatient clinics and various service locations, delivering care to residents in over 55 communities throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Our extensive range of services includes more than 125 specialties and subspecialties, such as adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care (including WATCHMAN and TAVR), cancer treatment, plastic and reconstructive surgery, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and much more!

Opportunity:

• Act as core faculty to instruct and mentor residents in a six-resident program.
• Prepare and educate the next generation of physicians, with a focus on aligning the role with your strengths and interests.

• Precepting Residents: Provide teaching and guidance to residents in both clinical and hospital settings (50% of your time).
• Clinical Practice: Deliver clinical care in our residency clinic (30% of your time).
• Administrative & Curriculum Development: Allocate time for program administration and curriculum design (20% of your time).

• Engage in comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, procedural care, nursing home services, and women's health.
• Participate in well-established medical student education opportunities.
• This role offers a unique chance to shape and develop a community-based residency program while maintaining an active clinical practice.
• Play a vital role in nurturing the next generation of family medicine physicians and positively impacting local community health.
• Lead the growth and development of the residency program, including its structure, curriculum, and faculty involvement.
• Recruit, mentor, and assess residents.
• Utilize EPIC EMR.
• Access a wide range of multi-specialty referral sources.
• 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for teaching residents and medical students in both didactic and clinical settings.
• Previous faculty experience in an accredited residency or fellowship program is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• A minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) and clinical practice.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant field.
• MD/DO board certified or board eligible.
• Exceptional skills in providing high-quality patient care.
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
