Job Description
Reporting to the Medical Director of Cardiopulmonary Services and the Department Director, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering direct patient care across all facets of respiratory treatment, adhering to physician directives and established protocols while considering the patient's age. This role involves providing respiratory care and life support to individuals experiencing issues within the cardiopulmonary system. Key clinical responsibilities include:
- Establishing and overseeing mechanical ventilation.
- Providing emergency care as needed.
- Assisting in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubation procedures.
- Monitoring patients' physiological responses to treatments.
- Educating patients and their families regarding their health conditions.
- Instructing on effective disease management strategies.
We offer a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for Respiratory Therapists with less than one year of experience and a $30,000 bonus for those with over one year of experience.
QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Must have graduated from an accredited associate degree program in respiratory therapy.

Individuals in this role:
Will not be required to operate vehicles for business purposes.
Note: A frequent driver is defined as someone who uses their personal or organizational vehicle a) at least once daily, b) for at least five trips per week, or c) drives an average of over 150 miles weekly as part of their job duties. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Florida.
