About This Oral Surgery Dental Position

We are currently looking for a dentist with substantial hands-on experience in oral surgery to join our dental team on a PRN (as needed) basis. This opportunity is ideal for dentists skilled in performing third molar and complex surgical extractions confidently, with a proven clinical volume to support their expertise. If you are a dentist with strong oral surgery skills seeking a flexible PRN schedule, we offer the dental team, necessary equipment, and patient base.

Key Responsibilities

Our oral surgery practice is equipped with:

  • DentaPro software for efficient management.
  • Digital x-ray and Panorex imaging systems.
  • Dedicated dental assistants trained specifically for oral surgery procedures.
  • Annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management protocols.

As a Dentist specializing in Oral Surgery, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting third molar extractions, including those that are impacted.
  • Performing surgical and complex extractions as clinically indicated.
  • Working effectively within our dental office alongside trained clinical staff.
  • Maintaining high standards of compliant, patient-centered oral surgery care.
Qualifications

We are looking for our oral surgery provider to possess the following qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental school.
  • Proven advanced experience in oral surgery as a general dentist, with significant hands-on practice in complex and surgical extractions.
  • Active dental license in the state of practice, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, DEA, and any relevant state credentials.
  • A compassionate approach and a strong commitment to providing oral surgery care to underserved dental patients.
