Position Overview

Opportunity

  • Signing bonus available

  • Annual salary of $170,000

  • Assistance with relocation costs

  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance

Position Requirements

Education

  • Completion of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the American Medical Association is mandatory.

Experience

  • Preferred experience in Urology; however, recent graduates will also be considered.

Certification & Licensure

  • PA-C: Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) - OR - NP: Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) along with RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required.

  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required at the time of employment.

Specialty Certifications

  • Advanced Care Nurse Practitioner Certification is required.

  • Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and relevant privileges (e.g., ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.).

  • Eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs is necessary.

  • Must meet all qualifications to participate in the hospital's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.
