Annual salary of $170,000
Assistance with relocation costs
Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance
Position Requirements
Education
Completion of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the American Medical Association is mandatory.
Experience
Preferred experience in Urology; however, recent graduates will also be considered.
Certification & Licensure
PA-C: Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) - OR - NP: Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) along with RN: Registered Nurse licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required.
BLS: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required at the time of employment.
Specialty Certifications
Advanced Care Nurse Practitioner Certification is required.
Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and relevant privileges (e.g., ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.).
Eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs is necessary.
Must meet all qualifications to participate in the hospital's professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.
