Location: Parkland: 17th FLR BLK 600\n

*Must be able to complete 12-14 days of direct patient care training (ideally 4 days per work week for initial 2 weeks of scheduled patient care training) \n

Primary Purpose:\n

\nEvaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles of physical therapy in addition to providing leadership to Physical Therapy professional and support staff.\n

- Must have a degree in Physical Therapy from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. \n
Experience:\n
\n
- \n
- Must have two years of experience as a Physical Therapist. \n
Certification/Registration/Licensure:\n
\n
- \n
- Must have current licensure with the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for Texas, or have temporary licensure in Texas. \n
- Must have a current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card prior to hire and/or placement in job from one of the following: \n
- American Heart Association \n
- American Red Cross Rescuer \n
- Military Training Network. \n
Skills or Special Abilities:\n

- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of physical therapy procedures and techniques. \n
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written with patients, families, and hospital staff. \n
- Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving ability. \n

- Must be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills. \n
