Job Title: Insurance Accounts Receivable
Work Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance AR Specialist to join their team. This role involves identifying and resolving issues with payor accounts, handling inquiries regarding past-due balances, and ensuring adherence to payment plans. The position also requires preparing reports, maintaining files, and providing excellent customer service to the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify problem accounts with payors and resolve past-due accounts.
- Research inquiries regarding past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
- Resolve delinquent accounts and prepare payment plans.
- Prepare reports to identify and resolve accounts receivable issues.
- Collaborate with practices within the organization to obtain necessary documentation.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
- Provide support for other team members during high-activity periods and assist while they are on vacation.
Qualifications
- At least five (5) years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in Insurance and Patient Accounts Receivable.
- Understanding of dental and medical insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dental experience is a plus.
Schedule/ Shift: M-F, 8-5 pm
