Job Title: Insurance Accounts Receivable

Work Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Insurance AR Specialist to join their team. This role involves identifying and resolving issues with payor accounts, handling inquiries regarding past-due balances, and ensuring adherence to payment plans. The position also requires preparing reports, maintaining files, and providing excellent customer service to the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify problem accounts with payors and resolve past-due accounts.
• Research inquiries regarding past-due balances and insurance guidelines.
• Resolve delinquent accounts and prepare payment plans.
• Prepare reports to identify and resolve accounts receivable issues.
• Collaborate with practices within the organization to obtain necessary documentation.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
• Provide support for other team members during high-activity periods and assist while they are on vacation.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Insurance and Patient Accounts Receivable.
• Understanding of dental and medical insurance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

• Dental experience is a plus.

Schedule/ Shift: M-F, 8-5 pm
