\nCredo is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable software systems for automated validation of 800G and 1.6T OSFP and QSFP-DD optical modules. You’ll architect lab automation frameworks, integrate advanced optical and electrical test equipment, and define the next-generation validation infrastructure that enables rapid deployment of Credo’s high-speed data center interconnect products.

Base salary range is $140,000 – $210,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Requirements
\nBasic Qualifications
\n- \n
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Photonics. \n
- 8+ years of experience in test automation, instrumentation, or optical systems. \n
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++. \n
- Hands-on experience with SCPI, PyVISA, and Linux. \n
- Hands-on experience with DCAs, VNAs, optical switches, and VOAs. \n
- Working knowledge of PAM4, signal integrity, and optical link budgets. \n
- Experience with QSFP-DD and OSFP modules at 400G, 800G, and 1.6T.

Preferred Qualifications
- \n
- Experience automating Arista EOS, SONiC, or Cumulus Linux. \n
- Familiarity with IEEE 802.3 and OIF specifications. \n
- Experience with high-volume validation or manufacturing test systems. \n
