Senior Software Engineer

Clera
New York, NY, US Full Time

About the Role

A well-funded, Series B legaltech startup is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team in New York City. This company is redefining legal services by combining AI with human expertise — helping businesses review and negotiate contracts in hours rather than days. Own end-to-end product development across the stack, with a strong focus on intuitive, lawyer-facing interfaces.

  • \n
  • \n

Collaborate directly with founders to define technical priorities and establish a robust, maintainable codebase.

  • \n
  • \n

Develop and integrate large language model (LLM)-powered tools into the core platform.

  • \n
  • \n

Contribute to a high-energy, in-person engineering culture focused on shipping quickly and iterating fast.

  • \n
  • \n

Mentor junior engineers and help recruit talent as the team scales.
