Software Engineer
Job Description
We're the driverless car
\n company. We believe in building great products to improve people’s lives by
\n making transportation safer, more accessible, and more convenient. Our team is
\n small, but we move quickly. In less than a year, we built prototype vehicles
\n that have logged over 10,000 autonomous miles on California highways. We're
\n looking for smart, ambitious people to help develop our next generation
\n products, ensure they’re reliable and safe, and deploy them at scale. We're
\n looking for a software engineer for a variety of roles, including but not
\n limited to: -Building out backend systems to automate our workflow -Designing
\n key components of our on-site and cloud infrastructure -Implementing complex
\n controls or perception algorithms -Processing our large amounts of recorded
\n sensor data and mapping information.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with experts to build
\n tools and implement algorithms that advance the state of the art in
\n self-driving cars \n \n

REQUIREMENTS
- \n
- BS, MS or PhD in CS, math,
\n physics, or similar field \n \n - Excellent programming
\n skills, especially in C++ \n \n - Passionate about
\n self-driving technology and its potential impact on the
\n world \n \n

- Experience writing robust,
\n safety-critical code \n \n - Able to understand and
\n implement complicated algorithms \n \n - Used several types of data
\n stores, including SQL databases, key/value stores, and geospatial databases

\n usable UIs \n \n
