Lead Family Medicine Physician with an Inpatient Focus

Job Description

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with expertise in inpatient and outpatient care to lead our Family Medicine inpatient team and oversee the inpatient service.

Position Highlights:

\n

* Provide clinical oversight for FM inpatients.

\n

* Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure our inpatient training meets ACGME requirements.

    Serve as the liaison to the hospitalist division.

    • \n
  • \n

    Work closely with residency leadership, OB faculty, and clinical teams to optimize processes, and drive performance improvement.

    • \n
  • \n

    Uphold MetroHealth's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of care and education.

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • \n

    MD or DO with a non-restricted Ohio medical license.

    • \n
  • \n

    Board-certified in Family Medicine.

    • \n
  • \n

    Minimum of 2 years post-residency

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong skills in POCUS, inpatient clinic care, and teaching residents and medical students.

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to meet MetroHealth credentialing and privileging requirements.
