- Hygienists who have completed one year of service may receive reimbursement for continuing education courses up to $250 annually.
- Company-sponsored certification training, including CPR, Radiology, and Nitrous Oxide certifications. Selected employees may be reimbursed for eligible training/testing expenses required for certification renewal.
As a Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing direct dental care and related services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, as well as offering general support to the office.
- Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
- Provide direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride application, and other related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist.
- Enhance customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care.
- Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices.
- Evaluate the dental condition and needs of patients while reviewing their medical history.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and company standards.
- Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process.
- Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed.
- Take x-rays and document them in patient charts when necessary.
- Create memorable patient experiences by demonstrating compassion towards patients and their families.
- Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing.
- CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire).
