Cardiologist - Non-Invasive or Interventional | Physician-Owned Practice | Partnership Opportunity
Job Description
Cardiologist (Non-Invasive or Interventional)
\nJoin an Independent, Physician-Owned Cardiology Practice in Northern Virginia
\nPolaris Heart & Vascular is an established, physician-owned cardiovascular practice located in Northern Virginia, just 30 minutes from Washington, DC. We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist to join our team and provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
\nWe welcome applications from both non-invasive cardiologists and experienced interventional cardiologists. This position offers a balanced practice that includes outpatient care, inpatient consultations, and hospital rounding. For interventional cardiologists, it is ideally suited for someone who enjoys maintaining procedural skills while focusing on comprehensive cardiovascular care rather than a predominantly catheterization laboratory practice.
\nAbout Polaris Heart & Vascular
\nPolaris Heart & Vascular provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with a strong focus on quality, patient relationships, and physician autonomy. Our practice is supported by experienced advanced practice providers, skilled clinical staff, and a full range of in-office diagnostic services.

\nThe Opportunity
\nThis position offers a diverse mix of outpatient and inpatient cardiology. Physicians develop their own office practice while also providing inpatient consultations, daily hospital rounding, and participating in the group's hospital call schedule.
\nFor experienced interventional cardiologists, there is an opportunity to continue performing coronary angiography, PCI, and participating in STEMI call. Physicians with peripheral vascular intervention experience are encouraged to discuss opportunities to expand those services within the practice.
\nThis position is best suited for a physician seeking a well-rounded cardiovascular practice with meaningful procedural opportunities, rather than a practice focused primarily on high-volume interventional cardiology.
