Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly\n

  • Address the customer by name
  \n
  • Welcome customers as they walk into the establishment
  \n

• Maintain the work location \n
  \n
  • Maintain a clean counter
  \n
  • Maintain a clean floor
  \n
  • Ensure the restrooms are clean
  \n
  • Ensure the store windows are clean
  \n
\n
• Understand the dry-cleaning process and the services that are provided by the company \n
  \n
  • Be able to answer questions about possible stains
  \n
  • Be able to answer questions about the material of the garment
  \n
  • Be able to make recommendations on the cleaning of a garment
  \n
\n
• Understand the laundry process and the services provided by the company
\n
• Understand the laundry care symbol chart
\n
• Understand the procedure of accepting the customer’s garments
\n
• Inspect the garments
\n
• Buttons are intact
\n
• Check for open seams or any possible repairs that may be needed
\n
• All zippers work properly
\n
• All pockets are checked and emptied out
\n
• Make sure all linings have been patted to ensure that nothing has fallen to the bottom
\n
• Use the proper tagging system and ensure to have the customer’s contact information
\n
• Respond and assist promptly to customer inquiries or complaints
\n
• Responsible for cash drawer and daily deposit for his/her shift
\n
