Sales Representative – B2B (Plating & Electroforming Industry) – San Diego, CA

Component Surfaces Inc. is a state-of-the-art technical plating and electroforming company serving the semiconductor, aerospace, and medical industries nationwide. Based in San Diego, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional solutions and building long-lasting client relationships.

The Role:

\n We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to help us expand our reach across the U.S. This hybrid role requires spending part of the week at our San Diego factory to gain hands-on understanding of our operations and offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and mine industry lists to identify new leads and opportunities
\n
• Cultivate B2B relationships with companies in manufacturing, jewelry, art, and related industries
\n
• Understand customer needs and deliver customized solutions
\n
• Manage your sales pipeline and maintain records in our CRM
\n
• Attend local industry events and networking functions
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine and execute sales strategies
\n

What You Bring:

\n
• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, plating, or electroforming
\n
• Strong research and lead generation skills
\n
• Self-motivated, independent, and goal-oriented
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
\n
• Based in or near San Diego and available for regular on-site work
\n
• Familiarity with plating/electroforming is a bonus, but not required
\n

What We Offer:

• Competitive base salary: $60,000–$80,000 (based on experience)
\n
• Uncapped commission: 5% of gross sales you generate
\n
• Estimated first-year earnings: $90,000–$130,000, depending on performance
\n
• Opportunity for growth in a highly specialized and innovative industry

• A balanced role with both in-the-field prospecting and hands-on factory experience
