Your Role with Us
As an OB/GYN at our organization, you will deliver comprehensive care within a hospital environment, ensuring smooth coordination between outpatient, inpatient, and surgical services. OB/GYN Clinic
Situated within Salem Hospital, our OB/GYN clinic provides direct access to Labor & Delivery, the Emergency Department, and surgical services. The clinic is supported by a collaborative team of physicians, midwives, advanced practice providers (APPs), and nursing staff, delivering comprehensive care to a diverse range of patients. What You Will Do
Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings on the Salem Hospital campus.
Diagnose, treat, and manage both routine and high-risk pregnancies with the assistance of an experienced care team.
Conduct gynecologic procedures such as IUD placements, colposcopies, ablations, and minor surgeries in both clinic and operating room environments.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes APPs, midwives, registered nurses (RNs), medical assistants (MAs), and OB hospitalists.
Engage in a shared call rotation, with some weekend duties performed from home, ensuring continuous access to care.
Assist in delivering babies in a modern Labor & Delivery unit located just steps from the clinic, supported by anesthesiology and nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical institution. Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Oregon. Current DEA certification is required.
A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred; exceptional new graduates will be considered. Experience in managing both routine and high-risk obstetric patients and performing common gynecologic procedures is essential.
Additional Information
Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries or minimally invasive techniques is highly desirable.
Prior experience in a hospital-based, integrated care environment is advantageous.
Comfort in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex gynecologic cases is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
