Position Overview:In the role of Medical Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and coordinating medical care throughout the campus.
- Developing and assessing resident care policies in accordance with current best practices.
- Collaborating with nursing, pharmacy, therapy, and administrative teams to deliver high-quality, integrated care.
- Engaging in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives.
- Acting as a clinical leader and mentor, fostering excellence in geriatric care.
- Flexible working hours.
- Open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
- Average of 12-14 resident visits per shift, including routine and sick visits.
- On-call responsibilities every 6-8 weeks (phone calls only for a week).
- Extensive support services available within the facility, including specialists in Pulmonary, Physiatry, Psychology, WOCN, Podiatry, and more.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Certification in Geriatric Medicine or Hospice & Palliative Care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certified Medical Director (CMD) credential is preferred but not required.
- A strong passion for providing care to older adults in a collaborative, mission-driven setting.
Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:
- Annual compensation of $278,000.
