We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Internal Medicine Physician to become part of our Primary Care - East Paris team situated in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opportunity Overview
- Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- Location: 2144 E. Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
- Specialty: Internal Medicine
- Hospital Information: Associated with a leading healthcare facility in Grand Rapids
- Clinical Team Size: Comprising 6 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Involvement with residents, medical students, and fellows
- Call Requirements: 3 days per month - phone calls only, with 24/7 nurse triage support

- Choice between a 4-day or 5-day work week
- Each physician will receive 1:1 support from a Medical Assistant

Qualifications
- Preferred experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Must be board certified in the relevant clinical specialty or achieve certification within the timeframe set by the specialty board.
- Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
- DEA license required
Responsibilities
A typical day may involve:
- Delivering direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Engaging in teaching and mentorship
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health initiatives
