We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Internal Medicine Physician to become part of our Primary Care - East Paris team situated in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opportunity Overview

  • Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Location: 2144 E. Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
  • Specialty: Internal Medicine
  • Hospital Information: Associated with a leading healthcare facility in Grand Rapids
  • Clinical Team Size: Comprising 6 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Involvement with residents, medical students, and fellows
  • Call Requirements: 3 days per month - phone calls only, with 24/7 nurse triage support
  • Additional Details:
    • Choice between a 4-day or 5-day work week
    • Each physician will receive 1:1 support from a Medical Assistant

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Must be board certified in the relevant clinical specialty or achieve certification within the timeframe set by the specialty board.
  • Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • DEA license required

  • Delivering direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health initiatives
