Job Description
SUMMARY:
\nThe Accountant will use business and accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data. Additionally, they will be responsible for agency-level accounting functions, including, but not limited to general accounting, payables & receivables, financial reporting, spend analysis, material & labor variance analysis, billing & invoicing, and forecasting.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n- \n
- Financial responsibilities include General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing and Invoicing, Revenue Distribution, and Financial Reporting. \n
- Ensure all defined work is performed within the timeframes allotted for each functional financial process. \n
- Ensure all billing functions including invoicing, revenue distribution, and rating are completed in a timely and accurate manner. \n
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial policies, practices, procedures, and initiatives at the Plant level. \n
- Manage all accounting, bookkeeping, and financial matters. \n
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager. \n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance preferred. \n
- Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures. \n
- Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality. \n
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently. \n
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). \n
