Location: Charlotte, NC Randolph Road and Park Road locations
Reports To: RCM Manager

Position Summary
\nThe Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the billing and revenue cycle team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of billing-related activities. This role assists with documentation, data entry, account support, and communication with internal teams and patients. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting workflow efficiency and maintaining the integrity of operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the revenue cycle team

Assist with data entry and maintenance of patient information in the practice management system

Prepare, organize, and distribute documents and reports

Support claim submission processes and ensure required documentation is complete

Answer incoming calls and route appropriately

- \n
Track and log correspondence, including incoming mail, faxes, and electronic communications

Assist with payment posting support and reconciliation tasks as needed
\n

Maintain accurate and organized files (electronic and paper) for records
\n

Assist with AR, coding, and patient access teams to support issue resolution
\n

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies when handling patient information
\n

Identify workflow inefficiencies or documentation gaps and escalate to leadership

Qualifications
\nRequired:

High school diploma or equivalent
\n

Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative or healthcare office experience

Basic understanding of medical billing or revenue cycle processes

Experience with computer systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications

Strong organizational and customer service skills
