CMA (Medical Asst) - Clinic/Outpatient - Travel
Job Description
Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor procedures.
Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting information accurately.
Coordinate patient flow, phone calls, lab work, and follow-up nurse visits to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Administer medications and perform clinical tasks within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current listing on the Nebraska Medication Aide Registry.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Must hold ONE of the following certifications:
CMA (AAMA)
CCMA (NHA)
RMA (AMT/ARMA or equivalent)
Certifications accepted from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NHCWA, ARMA, or NRCMA.
0-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Travel position only - Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.
Consistent weekday schedule with no rotating shifts or weekends.
