You've worked hard to build deep Pulmonary + Critical Care expertise-this is a chance to use it in an outpatient-focused role designed for longevity. You'll step into a stable, physician-owned multispecialty environment with strong support, efficient workflows, and time to practice thoughtful medicine. This Pulmonologist (with Critical Care experience) position is positioned for near-term growth and long-term succession planning.

Practice Overview


  • You'll join a physician-owned, multispecialty group with established referral relationships and long-tenured providers
  • Outpatient pulmonary focus with complex, high-acuity patients (including ventilator-dependent and hospital-to-home transitions)
  • Dedicated MA support plus APP coverage for routine cases so you can focus on higher-complexity care
  • Efficiency tools available (dictation and scribe options) within a modern EHR workflow

Schedule


  • Monday-Friday outpatient schedule with no nights, no weekends, and no hospital rounding
  • Minimum 32 patient contact hours/week with an average daily census around 25
  • Primary clinic in New Windsor with about 1 day/week in a nearby secondary clinic (roughly 30 minutes apart)
  • 1:3 phone-only call rotation; low volume, triaged, and travel-friendly (remote call)

Compensation & Benefits


  • Base salary starting at 350,000 with productivity-based options available
  • 4 weeks PTO + 6 paid federal holidays
  • 2,500 CME allowance + 3 CME days annually
  • 401(k) with 6% employer match, full malpractice coverage, and health/dental/vision + life insurance (1x annual salary)

Candidate Requirements


  • Board-certified in Pulmonary Medicine with Critical Care certification
  • 7-10+ years post-fellowship experience across pulmonology and critical care
  • Comfort managing complex outpatient pulmonary patients and coordinating transitions of care
  • Collaborative approach with interest in long-term growth and future leadership opportunities
